§ 1. General Provisions
- These Terms of Service govern the use of the online educational platform Life Skills Nexus, operated by Life Skills Nexus Inc. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Regulations.
- The Platform offers digital content and services, including online courses, articles, and community features, aimed at providing practical knowledge for adults. These services are provided electronically.
- All users are required to review and accept these Regulations before creating an Account and using the Services. Lack of acceptance prevents the use of the Platform.
- The Administrator reserves the right to amend these Regulations. Users will be notified of any significant changes via email or a notice on the Platform.
§ 2. Definitions
- Platform – The online educational service available at lifeskillsnexus.com, operated by Life Skills Nexus Inc.
- User – Any natural person with full legal capacity who creates an Account and uses the Services provided on the Platform.
- Account – A personalized user profile created during registration, allowing access to the Platform's Services.
- Services – All educational materials, courses, tools, and functionalities offered by the Platform, including free and paid content.
- Regulations – This document, specifying the terms and conditions for using the Platform.
§ 3. Type and Scope of Services Provided
- The Platform provides both free and paid services. Free services include access to selected articles and basic community features. Paid services, available through a Premium subscription, include unlimited access to all courses, certificates of completion, and other exclusive content.
- To use the paid Services, the User must purchase a subscription according to the current pricing plan available on the Platform's pricing page.
- The scope of content and features may be updated or changed by the Administrator to enhance the quality and relevance of the Services offered.
- All intellectual property rights to the content provided on the Platform, including course materials, videos, and text, belong to the Administrator.
§ 4. Technical Requirements
- To use the Platform, the User must have a device with internet access and an up-to-date web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
- An active email address is required for Account registration and communication from the Platform.
- The User is responsible for ensuring their equipment meets these technical requirements.
§ 5. Rights and Obligations of the User
- The User agrees to provide true and accurate information during registration and to keep this information updated.
- The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their Account password and for all activities that occur under their Account.
- The User is prohibited from sharing their Account with others or distributing, reselling, or reproducing any content from the Platform without explicit written permission from the Administrator. The license granted is for personal, non-commercial use only.
- The User agrees to use the Platform in accordance with applicable laws and these Regulations, and to not engage in any activity that could harm the Platform or its users.
- The User has the right to terminate their account at any time by following the instructions in their account settings or by contacting support.
§ 6. Final Provisions
- Any disputes arising from the use of the Platform will be resolved amicably. If an agreement cannot be reached, disputes will be settled by the competent court for the Administrator's registered office.
- These Regulations are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada.
- If any provision of these Regulations is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions will continue to be in full force and effect.
